Apart from being a functional tool for body hygiene and daily wellbeing, taps have become real furnishing accessories: choice of their design, shape, and colour by the end consumer follows trends and tastes.
Innovation in the tapware sector today includes multiple aspects that concern not only the product’s aesthetics, but also the functionality and quality of its technical components, factors that are fundamental for us at Garef.
Our company has a department dedicated to the research and development of solutions in line with market requirements and the quality standards of international certifications: we work according to a ISO 9001 certified quality management system.
When we start an ongoing collaboration with a customer who requires additional certification to those already in place, we organise our production accordingly, thus permitting you to sell certified taps or components into the countries you work with.
Regardless of its intended use, a tap’s performance depends on several elements: the quality of the materials chosen for its production, its flow capacity, its hydraulic performance, its cartridge technology, the characteristics of its internal components, its noise level, its geometry, in other words its shape, the product’s sustainability. Materials play a strategic role, which is why we take the utmost care when choosing the most appropriate for the intended use.
We produce our concealed solutions with an innovative modular system that allows the various elements to be fitted according to the customer's needs. The external section can be customised to suit any kind of decor. We use brass for our built-in solutions, a material with a low lead content that complies with regulations.
Concealed boxes have several advantages:
The boxes are waterproof and the concealed section can be supplied separately from the external section to facilitate installation and speed up tiling.
We offer different models of cartridges with or without pressure balance to ensure constant water temperature for the user in the long term. The cartridges are:
Certifications mean you can also work with the public sector and make it easier to obtain contracts for work in buildings such as hotels, hospitals, and public admin. In recent years, we have introduced a line of concealed boxes compatible with the latest technologies required by the green building sector: the new insulation regulations call for the use of special containment boxes to isolate tap fittings inside the walls. We have developed finishes that guarantee excellent long-term durability: today a PVD finish can last up to twenty years without a scratch.
